MONICA'S MAJESTIC MACAWS

Monica's Majestic Macaws is a result of my life's work and aspiration to share my passion with others.

 

I graduated from the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program (EATM) at Moorpark College and began a career working with animals. Most recently I worked as a trainer at the San Diego Zoo.  My 30 years of animal experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with various marine mammals, reptiles, primates, and carnivores, however my true calling has been working with avian species, and more specifically, with parrots.

 

Relocating and enjoying being a stay at home mom to my 4 children made me realize just how much I missed daily interaction with birds and seeing them in flight. Over the past 10 years, while raising a family, I realized that I wanted to share my love for parrots, training, and wildlife conservation with not only my children, but with others.

 

Observing parrots in flight, working together and navigating their environment is truly an awe inspiring experience. Let us share with you a unique and majestic animal encounter while creating treasured moments with your family and friends.
